Known as the City that embodies the essence of “Ajonay” - a typical way of life of Maasinhons that embraces the culture, tradition, and values of cooperativism, voluntarism, understanding, oneness, and the bayanihan spirit of the people in the community in various aspects of life; Over the years our City progressively continued to move forward in its role as the center of commerce and industry in Southern Leyte.

As the City Mayor of Maasin, my main objective is to strive for continual improvement to the quality of life for our dear Maasinhons  and to encourage residential and commercial growth in our city. Launching this newly re-designed and improved website in pursuit to Good Governance, Accountability, & Transparency is one of the many efforts to render informative, substantial and productive outputs of LGU-Maasin Elected Officials and its employees.
