โToday is the day weโve all been waiting for, the day to be validated once again by national validators as one of the national contenders for the prestigious
2022 Seal of Good Local Governance. It is truly an honour to be chosen as one of the few, at least, to be validated for our Seal of Good Local Governance, hence,
the efforts of everyone who worked hard for the city to be included in the roster of potential passers.
We are also thankful for DILG CLGOO Bennites Paloma-Gido and former CLGOO Dr. Vicente Maraon for their efforts in pushing us to perform our best.
โThe City Government hopes that we will be able to satisfy all the requirements for all the indicators as we aim to be conferred for the 4th time the highly coveted
LGU performance recognition through the SGLG 2022.

Kami sa LGU-Maasin City, thru CSWD Office, andam sa kanunay na mutabang or muassist sa mga programa sa national government para sa kaayuhan natong tanan.
Sa pagkakaron, gitagaan lang ang LGU-Maasin City ug directive sa pagdisseminate mahitungod aning educational assistance. Wala pay pormal na instructions from the national government na mu-assist sa karon na pay-out.

All of you have been assessed by the DILG in the areas of safety, peace and order, financial administration and sustainability, disaster preparedness, social protection and sensitivity, business friendliness and competitiveness, and environmental management.
โ We could not be more proud of our awardees tonight for performing well in accordance with the programs of the DILG and all other government agencies. The compliance to the parameters set by DILG is indeed tedious but it is all worth it.
