The City Government of Maasin officially opened today, August 01, 2022, the month-long 22nd Cityhood Anniversary Celebration with the theme, β€œAJONAY: para sa Malig-on ug Maasensohon nga pagbuntog sa Pandemya ug Kalamidad”.
Our City Anniversary serves as a foundation of unity and dynamism. As we celebrate the 22nd Cityhood Anniversary of our dear Maasin City, we aim to be united as one in all our endeavors towards recovery from the past years' challenges.
My mom, CongW. Luz V. Mercado, serve as a guest speaker for the said Opening Salvo.
This was followed also by the Opening of Food Park in front of City Gym and the opening of our #Ajonay Sepak Takraw and #Ajonay Basketball Tournament.

Today is a day of history and hope. A day of renewal and resolve. Today we celebrate not only the triumph of the candidates, but also the triumph of the people of Maasin City.

Today is a day of thanksgiving. I thank the Almighty God for this victory,

for being re-elected as the Regional Representative for Region VIII during the 69th LCP’s General Assembly and Election of Officers.
