The City Government of Maasin, headed by our City Mayor Nacional "Nikko" V. Mercado, would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to UNICEF, in partnership with Plan International, for their active and generous support to the families affected by Typhoon Odette for a faster recovery and rehabilitation, especially with the implementation of their Wash, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Program.
For more than 6-month engagement, their organization contributed to saving lives by providing the following immediate assistance and protection interventions:

Maam Marites Miole sa Barangay Pasay para ma repair ang ilang cottage nga na damage sa Typhoon Odette. Dako natong kalipay uban sa mga Opisyales sa Maasin City nga naka hatag ta ug tabang pina agi sa coco lumber ug GI sheets para maka hinay2x ug tukod ug balik ang ilang cottage. #AjonayMaasin
